Greetings! My name is Cameron Perret

I'm a DevOps Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton, currently based in Falls Church, Virginia. I have over 3 years of experience building and automating software systems for both clients and personal projects.

My technical expertise includes Shell Scripting, Python, and SQL, along with deep experience in infrastructure automation and CI/CD using tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, Jenkins, and Docker. I'm passionate about optimizing development workflows, reducing manual effort, and building scalable, reliable environments that help teams deliver software faster and more securely.

I hold a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) from Virginia Tech, where I developed a strong foundation in problem-solving, process optimization, and systems design. This background helps me approach DevOps challenges with both an engineering mindset and an eye for operational efficiency.

Outside of work, I spend a lot of time golfing and going on long runs, it's how I unwind and keep challenging myself.
